2nd UPDATE: The manufacturer contacted me and I got a replacement that works great. Sometimes the device is defective. UPDATE: I'm so sad after it's been working for about 2 weeks the headphone jack keeps disconnecting and the sound comes out of my phone's speaker with regular headphones or no sound at all from my car. Speaker. I will not change the stars in this review because I will try again to get a replacement because I think I might get a faulty one which is random. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is perfect for what I need. I like to stream music through the AUX cable in my car and for long drives I have to keep my phone plugged in. I resisted swapping for a newer model phone because they no longer have a headphone jack. This little splinter works like a charm. The output tone does not suffer, it reproduces rich, full sounds. I am very happy with my purchase.
