Installed because the old low pressure fitting was the source of the leak. Pulled the vacuum and charged the system. When I removed the fill hose, the stem in this valve stayed open, pouring out the contents I had just added. I do not know why. Never happened to me before. I put a new ring in my old valve along with a new valve stem and did it all over again. No leaks and cold air. My old low pressure fitting is heavy metal, not this very light alloy. Not sure if it matters. I do not scold the manufacturer or the seller, but I advise you to buy heavier fittings.
