The product is not the same as in the photo.

I've been wearing blue Dickies denim pants for years. Has seven belt loops. The photo shows trousers with seven belt loops. The pants you sent me have five. You are misrepresenting this product.

The valve stem is terrible but otherwise works

The valve stem on this unit is terrible. I kept the vacuum flow on the r12 valve as the one on the adapter was leaking air. With a standard valve stem, all refrigerant is lost. Save the r12 valve stem and it should work fine.

They work great for my use.

I buy them when I work on cooling systems. More specifically, my old used fridge and coke machine from the 1960s. They attach perfectly to soldered service connectors and faucets. I have refilled my used fridge which was repaired a month prior to purchase but was said to still be leaking. It's easy to fill the system and have a cooling fridge again. Easily connects to the vending machine after a small upgrade of the refrigerant system. Click and fill and we have a cooling machine.

Don't know why but didn't work for me

Installed because the old low pressure fitting was the source of the leak. Pulled the vacuum and charged the system. When I removed the fill hose, the stem in this valve stayed open, pouring out the contents I had just added. I do not know why. Never happened to me before. I put a new ring in my old valve along with a new valve stem and did it all over again. No leaks and cold air. My old low pressure fitting is heavy metal, not this very light alloy. Not sure if it matters. I do not scold the…
