Review on πŸ”Œ Enhanced Extension Adapter for Seamless Standard Polarization Conversion by Joseph Lang

To be honest I don't remember seeing anything that bad.

To call it junk is an understatement. One of the two adapters came with no screws holding it together. But it gave me a chance to see how it's done indoors. What an electrical/mechanical design nightmare! You saved on a 2 inch cable. Instead, one side of the spring holds up the middle female connector while the opposite end of the spring touches the edge (not the flat surface!) of the thin blade. And the blade (the inside of the tooth) can rotate on its axis, so the contact is not only bad, it's downright dangerous. I would never have something like this working in my house, as a bad connection is a significant fire hazard. But the designer's infinite wisdom has created two POS gears that allow the [otherwise brittle] pins to rotate so they are either parallel to each other or in a V position like some 250V sockets (I think they care themselves anyway). fit in there) adapters play so much when plugged into an outlet that they just fall out even without a lightbulb.
