Works great with improved tip

March 7, 2020 Review updated. After the second pen tip broke, Meko contacted me and offered to send me a pen with their new improved tip. The new tip is white rather than gray and much thicker at the base. My son has had it for about 3 weeks now and has had no issues with it breaking. He likes it very much. Meko's customer service is excellent. Upgrading my rating from 3 to 4 stars based on the new stylus tip and Meko's great customer service. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ So. It's really nice when it works. I got it for my 14 year old son. He writes a lot on his iPad to study. He loved it until he dropped it and broke the tip. Unfortunately, the tip broke off flush with the hole, so we can't remove the broken tip shaft. I contacted the company which was great and they replaced it but after about 2 weeks the same thing happened. He dropped it again and the tip snapped off. We cannot remove the rest with the supplied tweezers because there is no gripping surface. It doesn't look like there is any other way to remove the broken rod. I don't think it's the best thing for a teenager who wears it around school all day. If you handle it carefully and don't drop it, it's a good pen. Do not use the provided tweezers to remove the debris as there is no surface to grasp. It doesn't look like there is any other way to remove the broken rod.
