I chose the right length according to my dog's size. Puppies love to chew... but not through that! I prefer the other harnesses because (chew protection) and my dogs don't sit on the seats (wet/dirty dogs, nails/claws in leather seats and door panels, hair loss on seats, etc.); Dog restraints force you to use a seatbelt clip...but with this restraint, I strap my dogs in the trunk of my SUV where they have plenty of room, with rugs and blankets not falling off the seat, no hair anywhere, no more patterns on the nose are wet dogs on all windows, no more worries about leather seats and scratches on vinyl/plastic doors. I definitely recommend it.
