I'm updating this bad review I gave previously. I ended up buying a new router and resetting two of my Kasa Smart Plugs. Now they are back to work. I'll be following them for about a month and if they're still active I'll reevaluate my overall ranking. Set up the device and it worked fine for a month. Then he stopped working. I've called Kasa support and asked for troubleshooting advice many times, but nothing has helped. The lights on the device were not working according to the specifications of the device. Eventually I was told to contact my ISP to reset my modem. However, all of our other home devices work fine, including the other TP-Link minijack. So I hesitate to restart my modem. Since I'm still under warranty, I asked for a replacement. Tp-Link refused to honor the guarantee. Instead, I will simply stop using this device and will not purchase any other TP-Link products. I think this is a bad product from a bad company.
