Review on Nokia 225 Unlocked 4G Cell Phone in Black by Ron Patel

I really wanted to love this phone but the old 100% reliable dumb phones seem to be a thing of the past. I used it as my only phone to avoid distractions. This phone is ALMOST perfect. GOOD: - I like that it has LTE Voice. Works great on T-Mobile. The call quality is good and I even filled it with MP3s to listen to during my workouts. Phone volume is sufficient. Especially considering the size of the phone. I love that it has Bluetooth, which works almost perfectly (more on that below). I connect to Bluetooth headsets and the car. - The buttons are finger-friendly, I got used to the navigation within a day. - Using the browser is painful, but for me it's a plus as my goal is to minimize distractions. - Battery life is pretty good. I'm on the phone during the day, connected to bluetooth and have no problem with it all day. - Added 32GB SD card with MP3 files (couldn't get 128GB card, 32 seems max) BAD: - Text messages have wrong time! I've tried playing with the clock settings, but that's no problem. It doesn't matter if you set the time or set it to "Auto", incoming SMS will have the wrong time. You will see it mentioned in other reviews. It froze me several times. When I say frozen, I mean fully frozen, where holding the power button doesn't even turn the device off. I don't come across this as often as other people in the reviews, but it happens. I noticed that the Bluetooth range sucks. When I'm listening to music and I place my phone more than an arm's length away, the music sometimes cuts out. DIRTY: When I make a speakerphone call, people on the other end say I'm free. This doesn't happen when I pick up the speaker or use a bluetooth headset. Occurs only over speakerphone and is really disappointing. When I'm on a conference call, I turn on the speakerphone until it's time to speak. CONCLUSION: I will continue to use this phone until I find something better. It has everything I want, just wish it was more polished.
