I have small hands and this was the largest size available but they fit perfectly. New England is very warm (-2 and high 15 this week). I love their grip because unlike thick gloves they don't slip off when I'm driving or when I'm doing something with my hands in the cold. Haven't tried digging a needle or anything so can't comment on how waterproof they are, but for biking, running, walking or just being out in the cold these are really great gloves. Also note that they have additional grips on the index finger and the middle inner part of the finger/palm area.
