Everything you need to know.

I'm happy and satisfied, but I'll tell you what to consider when buying. The fairing around the post was indented from the other parts opposite in the box. Since it is foam I would expect it to swell up again over time. Simple packaging tweaks can prevent this, but they don't affect the performance of the product in any way. Due to the fact that it doesn't inflate, you can consider that in the aesthetics section. An image attempting to capture this is attached. If your bike doesn't have a horizontal bar you will need an app as it is part of the bike. hold tight. However, this is obviously not this product again, just a warning. Assembly is easy for 1 person and takes about 15 minutes. You will need an Allen key and a wrench or two to tighten the bolt while holding the nut. Make it fairly tight as you don't want them to waste time. 40 ft-lb torque ID sensor. Don't tighten to the point where you're squeezing the metal. The components that wrap around the bike's crossbar are flexible. I was concerned that my large bar would be too big, but it fits well. I don't think many bikes have larger crossbars, but if yours is over 3 inches you might want to look elsewhere. The straps are pretty basic. However, when you first let go of them, you might be surprised at how easily they come loose. I recommend bending the strap through the buckle. While this is all the bike will hold up, it's still a good idea to check them regularly. Additional modifications to this strap may be required if you use it. Remember to properly adjust the vertical bar. The bottom is angled to allow it to tip backwards and when you put it back it won't tip until you flip it over. The instructions say it should tip straight. This is a mistake. of the car, but not flat. The instructions say to tie the wheels or other bike components to prevent them from spinning in the car and damaging the paint. Again obvious. I wish they had included 2 or 3 more buckle straps with the product. 1. Press the front wheel against the bike frame to keep it straight. 1 or 2 more to tie the brakes to the handlebars. The less movement, the less vibration, the less things loosen up. Basic mechanics, so I recommend doing this regardless of your product choice. In general, I installed and tested it locally. If anything changes over time I will update this to reflect that. At the moment I am as happy as I could have hoped to be and I think after reading the above and deciding to buy you will be too.
