I was blown away by such glowing reviews that I decided to try this water bottle. The description says it's a healthy plastic and overall I really liked the design and color choices of their bottles. When I received the bottle, the label showed that the product was made in China. This isn't usually a problem for me, but I decided to take a little deeper look at their healthy plastic claim as many products made in China aren't true in their marketing claims. visible at the bottom of their bottles (located in the center of the recycling logo). For those who don't know, plastic #7 is literally the most dangerous plastic that can be used to store food or water. Plastic #7 is known to release very, very dangerous chemicals into both water and food. Because of this, this bottle is clearly being mis-sold and should be discontinued due to health concerns related to their product. Too bad companies get away with things like this easily due to the ignorance of most buyers.
