Fantastic pattern material

Until recently I used Viva brand paper towels to create all my doll size patterns. I also tried Pattern Ease which was too thick and bulky for me. I never thought I could like anything more than my paper towels, but then I decided to give Swedish tracing paper a try. And wow! That is amazing. It's great for creating custom templates or tracking commercial templates for changes. BENEFITS -* Very thin yet crisp and durable.* Won't tear or wrinkle like tissue paper.* Won't stretch or buckle like paper towels. .*Translucent enough for you to trace anything without the need for a lightbox.*You can easily draw or write on it with a pencil or pen.*Scissors cut right through. You don't even have to cut, just slide your (open) scissors forward to cut through the material.* You can pin and staple it like fabric.* It wraps around the 29" roll like a small roll of fabric. fabric for decoration. I'm standing in the corner with rolls of silk. - CONS -* It creases easily which can be bad if you accidentally crumple or fold the material. However, it can be good if you want to press the crease to mark the center line of the pattern. No iron required, just fold the fabric and iron with your finger.* It's slightly stiff so it doesn't drape like fabric. If you need to test how your pattern drapes you will get a muslin layout - RATE - Overall I have to give this five stars. That's a brilliant thing! Highly recommended for anyone wanting to create their own patterns or pursue commercial patterns.
