✫I have a Brother xr✫It's almost 10 years old now and I've recently noticed that when I sew in reverse the bobbin is rattling and the upper thread is snagging. A piece of plastic is missing from the bobbin case. ✫ I bet on this one as it looked identical. ✫ There is only one noticeable difference between this bobbin case and the original: a small fluffy strip at the top, maybe 1/8 to 1/4 inch longer. I cut it to fit my original spool. ✫Initially I had a few skipped and tangled stitches. Then I adjusted the tensioner and put a drop of machine oil on the bottom of the bobbin case and the metal part it is in and everything was fine. several projects since then with no apparent problems. crossed fingers I will update if I encounter any problems.
