Two 1TB Silicon Power drives have been in use for almost a year and one 750GB drive for much longer. They work. I haven't heard the slightest hint of noise from any of them, and they sit about half a meter from my ears. Unfortunately I don't have space to fit them all with lots of air around them, but they don't get hot. I keep a large music library on one of the 1TB drives so it comes in very handy. But the information can be expanded to fill the available space (can't it?), so I'm currently looking for a 2TB drive. I would buy this A80 drive in a heartbeat if it were available. But SP is here to help: their Rugged Armor A60 comes in a 2TB version, so my search ended as soon as it began. By the way, I see that almost every disc reviewed on Revain has its critics, even this one. None of these devices are bulletproof and none of them last forever. But SP's performance on my system has been bug-free long enough to convince me to stick with what's working.
