Review on ๐Ÿ“ป Omnidirectional Outdoor FM Antenna by John Clark

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A little "tuning " helped a lot.

I am a retired electronics technician. He worked for RCA TV in the '60s, Aerospace in the '70s and '90s, and Satellite in the '80s and '00s. RF technology can be exciting and sometimes predictable. And anyone who has ever had trouble connecting their favorite TV channel to bunny ears has seen this "trick". I was able to upgrade most of the FM stereos I wanted by having the antenna mounted to the ceiling of the garage where I have the stereo. The elements are quite rigid and getting the ends onto the threaded posts wasn't easy. The new 75 ohm cable I made is about 8 feet long. Initially I was able to pick up a lot more stations but only a few of them were fixed in stereo until I checked a little tick you see on an item. First I rotated the antenna 360ยบ until I was transmitting most of the stations from Seattle, 40 miles south or to the right of the frame. And then I took any piece of aluminum foil and wrapped the elements in different places, rotating and moving the 6 inch flag until I got LOTS of stereo signals. Not the cleanest and couldn't do it from the outside but inside or in the attic I think will do. The price is correct. I'm happy with the extra 10-15 minutes of work to fix everything. That. I could experiment later but it works) First I rotated the antenna 360ยบ, until I was broadcasting most stations from Seattle, 40 miles south or directly in frame.
