Fender Champion 20 speaker upgrade

I purchased the 8 inch, 8 ohm speaker for my Fender Champion 20 combo amp. It’s a direct fit, although I had to wire a wider female connector on one of the leads to fit the Jensen speaker connection. A little inconvenient, but not a deal breaker.The speaker sounds great and is a definite improvement over the stock speaker. Lots of old school tone and handles all the nuances I can dial in or play on my Telecaster.

The speaker may not be able to handle sudden changes in atmospheric pressure
