I needed this adapter because my sound card on my desktop is not the best. My Turtlebeach headset works great with this adapter if you have the right cable. From what my friends tell me, the sound quality from my headset mic is clear. Where, like before using this adapter, there was white noise coming from my sound card. This helped me to solve this problem. Windows 10 defines it as a regular USB audio device, but you can adjust the volume and add AGC. If you're tech-savvy, you might even want to keep an eye on the headset mic. It was worth the price.
