Review on πŸš— AINOPE USB C Car Charger: 30W PD & 30W QC, Fast Charging Mini-Flush Fit Car Charger for iPhone 13/13 Pro Max, iPad, Samsung - All Metal Design by Matthew Rodenbaugh

Fights both ports at the same time. Not sure why.

I've tried switching to USB-C and Power Delivery (PD) but on the same devices I've been using this charger seems to toggle. Charges once for a few seconds, then turns off and my BT audio adapter turns on again. It also causes a noticeable clicking noise on my car radio. I loved the even smaller form factor. I don't know why it was impossible to make both devices at the same time. My existing Ainope model with less power and two USB-A ports can do this with no problem. I have a Qi wireless charger on one port and a BT audio adapter on the other. In my old Ainope charger, the connectors were too close together and I was concerned about the physical stress on the connectors/bent connectors. Anyway, every PSU doc says this setup won't be a problem, so I'm stumped. Even tech support couldn't help and the replacement did the same. So I will upgrade to an older version of USB-A instead. Also, it's a solid piece of metal, just like my old one, and the idea with the fold-out, retractable handle is genius. The ports are also a bit further apart, which would allow me to plug in a BT audio adapter and wireless charger at the same time. Both Bluetooth and wireless charger are 2021 models. If you connect the cable directly to the phone, it works without any problems. But more and more people are getting these chargers, so it's not a weird situation.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Useless features
