Great product, terrible cable

This product works great right out of the box, but somehow it comes with a "universal" power cord that allows you to switch the plug adapter to US, EU, etc. and it makes a high-pitched hum when it is plugged in / squeaks. It took me forever to figure out where the noise in my apartment was coming from. Luckily I had a compatible plug but I would recommend finding a similar product or making sure you have an extra 12V 3A wall adapter.

Consists of 6 USB 3.1 ports with data transfer rates up to 5Gbps plus 1 additional fast charge port (up to 2.4A for BC 1.2 compatible devices) which can also be used for data transfer
