There are glasses with plastic frames and lenses. They're not very durable, but shiny plastic frames usually aren't. They are pretty (wayfarer style) and go well with a rather large bowler hat. The lenses are clear and evenly colored, they are non-polarized which suits me, I need them for driving and reading in the sun and it was polarized so it didn't interfere with my car or phone display. They're lightweight, have spring-loaded temples for comfort, and can be bent or adjusted with hot air from a hairdryer to better fit your ears if needed. Good glass at a good price if you need sunglass readers.
