That's great!

I have a black blockage in the tank. Very persistent. I can usually use a flexible hose that discharges water (goes down the toilet) and the clog clears up fairly quickly. Not this time. It becomes a huge mess when water is added through a hose with no outlet! I spent hours pouring out the awkward water to give the wand time to work. I also had a similar hose that I've tried over and over without success. I tried the snake which was completely useless. He just curled up in a heap in the tank. I tried leaving a bottle of Dawn in the aquarium. I tried leaving an entire bottle of the blue stuff in the tank for 6 treatments. I tried the boiling water trick. This went on for several days. I knew the problem with my flush was that all the water was going into the drain hose instead of the tank, but you can't kink the drain hose like a garden hose to stop the flow. I was looking for alternatives and came across these. Goals change the world! I paid almost as much as the item to have it shipped quickly and I don't regret it for a minute. As soon as it arrived I simply removed the one I had, changed the hose, closed the gray tank, galley and valve, then turned on the water. It took less than 25 seconds to unclog the clog I had been fighting for 6 days and empty the tank! I kept filling and emptying and it just kept coming out. This thing is worth every penny and I would recommend it to anyone who has an RV without a built in tank cleaner. I'm semi-permanent so I just left it in place and use it to flush the sewer line every few days since I don't have a long way to the sewer. I will clean the tank every time I empty water as it is very easy to use. Having this as a regular maintenance item will save you a lot of headaches later.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
