I was tempted to buy cheaper versions. But another friend did it this year and all his kids got blisters right after 4 hours of use. As expensive as they are, they fit and work as they should. Update: After 3 weeks both heel straps ripped. Now my two kids have had crocs for 2 years and loved them but this was the first pair to break, they must be old stock or stored in a very hot place to break so easily.
