Our phones don't charge wirelessly, so I was looking for a way to avoid using tiny plugs in tiny outlets. I tried that but found it had too many limitations. We have the same phones with different cases but it doesn't work in my thicker case. That's when I discovered there was a whole family of magnetic charging cables, and after ordering my first pair I took this one apart, threw away the plastic and used it temporarily, plugged right in. The only downside was that the base was so light it took two hands to separate the magnets and would have been awkward to use while charging. A cable with magnetic tips solves all these problems.
