I wasn't expecting miracles, but I did expect the leather to be properly stretched around the lid and not folded or wrinkled. The installation was very annoying. Alignment wedges/guide pins to aid in hinge alignment prevented the screw holes from matching. I had to break off the guide pins so I could attach the hinge to the lid. The top resin shell was clogged around the button and top trim. I had to use more than half of my original cap to get it working and looking halfway decent. There were even problems with the small rubber mat in the top shell. It was fastened and did not lie down. I completely removed the center top tray and spring latch and replaced them with my own. I also removed the bottom half and replaced it with mine because the leather was not assembled properly which made the back cover very difficult to remove and replace. The only part of this lid I used was the leather wrapped part and I didn't want to use it because of the swelling of the leather. But after everything I've been through putting it all together, I have no intention of trying to take it all apart again. And finally, the pillow is much thinner on the inside. I don't recommend this one. Since it was the most expensive here, I figured it would be better. It was just wishful thinking.
