This Ambiance dry shampoo is the best dry shampoo I have ever tried. And I've tried many, from Rene Fuerterer and Orlando Pita to Klorane and a variety of cheaper drugstore brands. The atmosphere won them all over. What I like best is that it doesn't leave a dull residue on my hair and the volume it adds looks natural. I went blonde and it suits me, it adds a soft shine that I find is very difficult to achieve with dry shampoo. The blonde has a pearly shade, but does not shine; just enough to lighten it up a bit. The only negative - but only half a star down from my 5 star rating - is the applicator. It can be a little messy until you get used to how the powder is dispensed and the brush can be a bit stiff but that's a minor issue compared to the really great product inside. I try many hair products and am mostly unimpressed because I have complex hair: thin, porous, aging hair that lacks volume and shine, so I rarely buy new products because they don't meet my expectations.
