A very reliable filter compared to the Mann filter. It feels like the K&N filter uses better materials. The installation is, as usual from VW, a bit tricky, at least with the air intake. Still, it didn't take long, just a few minutes to remove the motor cover and filter cover on the back. No problems installing, although I find the K&N to be a little tighter than the factory filter. Everything went back with no problems. On the test drive I didn't notice any noticeable increase in power, but maybe a little more throttle response, which was negligible at best. The intake noise has increased slightly. Basically satisfied.
