We have two children, 9 and 3 years old. Both have second pairs and my husband and I have worn them for many years. It's like wearing sneakers, you can do almost anything in them and keep your feet cool. We are outdoors all summer and they are great for playing by the creek, canoeing, hiking and camping. The rubber toe box really protects your toes from protruding rocks underwater. They definitely won't be the last Keens we buy. The only downside: your feet stink after wearing them!
