I had an ASUS Vidbook with an Intel Core i3 processor just a week ago (many of these reviews also seem to have AMD chips) but I'm very impressed. What I like first and foremost. Pros: 1. I like the screen. I've seen reviews that say the screen is mostly rubbish. Well the model I have is great for what I want. I've had 8-10 laptops in my life from Dell to Sony and I love the ASUS screen. Mainly because it's not too bright. It's more of a soft, natural light, almost like reading a piece of paper, rather than the bright blue that causes headaches and eyestrain. 2. I really like the keyboard so far (I don't know how it will perform over time). Keystrokes are light and the backlight is just right.3. It's fast for what I'm doing. Download speeds are excellent, not many of the bloated programs I've encountered on Dell and other computers. Mostly I surf the internet, watch streaming videos, create PowerPoint presentations, etc.4. One of the main things I like about this computer is that it's light, especially for the price, you get a relatively light computer with a fairly standard sized keyboard and screen without paying Apple's price. Cons: 1. It's hard to think of any cons, but one of them is that the computer comes with Microsoft 10S which can be easily disabled on 10 Home using the appropriate instructions.2. Battery life isn't the best considering I'm not gaming. I would say for simple calculations you get 6 to 7 hours. I'm sure it's good but I think it would be nice if it was 8-10 hours but at this price it can't all be. Overall I highly recommend this computer for the price, look and feel. It has everything you need for your studies, most business trips and everyday life at home at a good price.
