Don't buy this. Wrong product!

The screen had an issue where it wouldn't load properly and was often buggy. I called ASUS tech support and talked to them for 2 hours trying to fix the display issue but to no avail. I'm terribly disappointed because I needed this for school and now I have to return it and get a new laptop while I have to work in class. I would never buy this product again.

Advertised namesake-only USB-C connector

The screen isn't the best, but at this price point it's still functional and easy to understand. But this laptop filters out when it's looking for a USB-C connection, which I think is a great way to reduce cable clutter and the inconvenience of storing chargers and display cables. But this laptop offers none of those features over USB-C. Then what is the point of advertising and the presence of USB-C.

Better than I hoped

I was looking for a replacement laptop for my eight year old hippo. My criteria were: light weight, 8GB RAM, 64GB+ SSD, 1080p, full size HDMI port (not mini), Windows OS. I wanted it mostly for web browsing, word processing and some pretty light gaming (modded minecraft, java version). After about a month I am satisfied with this computer for all these tasks so far. In fact, it exceeded my gaming expectations. I wasn't expecting it to be able to run more than a few mods, but so far it's taken…

Great value for what I wanted

I had an ASUS Vidbook with an Intel Core i3 processor just a week ago (many of these reviews also seem to have AMD chips) but I'm very impressed. What I like first and foremost. Pros: 1. I like the screen. I've seen reviews that say the screen is mostly rubbish. Well the model I have is great for what I want. I've had 8-10 laptops in my life from Dell to Sony and I love the ASUS screen. Mainly because it's not too bright. It's more of a soft, natural light, almost like reading a piece of paper,

perfect for college students

Looking for an affordable laptop that can be used for school and home? This is the one. It took me about 4 days to decide which laptop to buy but I finally found out that this would be the right one. There aren't many video reviews of this laptop on YouTube, but it's worth buying. Even if you don't go to college, this is a great laptop for personal use. Backlit keyboards are lifesavers when used late at night. The only problem (not the laptop itself) is Windows 10, it took a while to install…

Unprofessional seller - laptop in bad condition

From day one I noticed many problems with the device. First of all, I was very disappointed with the way the laptop was packaged (no bubble wrap or anything). The store knew it would fly halfway around the world, and yet the packaging was poor. I tried to work around this, but then I noticed that the device is a bit oddly balanced on hard surfaces (table). The protective sticker on the bumper is not fully aligned, causing the device to move and not rest on the table. The fan system then also…

Great for discount prices, good for basic needs

This computer is great for basic tasks. Loads pretty fast. It's very compact. Overall it's pretty easy. The fingerprint sensor is also handy for logging in. 1080P screen, which is enough for most basic laptops. 8GB of RAM is enough for a regular computer. The I3 processor is also sufficient. I have 128GB hard drive space. I can always expand with a flash drive. I personally took it out of S mode. I like the full Windows experience. Backlit keyboard with dark spaces. The loading speed is also…
