I'm by no means a coffee snob, but I do like a good cup of coffee and wanted to improve my coffee experience with an espresso machine without breaking the bank. I am more than satisfied with this purchase so far. I think the best way to demonstrate the ease of use and quality of espresso is the fact that I bought this espresso machine in late November 2020 and have not touched my drip machine in over 2 months. One note about this (and probably every) espresso machine is that you need to know what you're doing before you jump in. There are quite a few techniques, so I highly recommend finding a good tutorial online on how to make an espresso shot. You should also invest in a higher quality tamper to pack the espresso as you simply can't muster the force needed to pack tightly with the one that comes with it. Now let's get down to the car itself. There's really nothing to complain about here. It holds plenty of water (enough to brew 2 large Americanos at once), heats up quickly, and has all the basic features you could want in an espresso machine. Contrary to what others say, the steam wand gets very hot to steam the milk. I've used it for almond milk, whole milk, and skim milk and have had no trouble doubling or tripling the amount of milk. I also love the fact that there is a single shot and double shot filter to speed up the process of making large drinks. I would very much like to buy this espresso machine again. If you see reviews of this thing not working then I think these people just don't know what they are doing because this machine works flawlessly and is exceptional for a sub $100 machine.
