I've been using pre and post workout protein powder for 15 years. It's absolutely the best I've ever had. I tried vanilla-free whey because I was looking for grass-fed whey concentrate (as opposed to isolate, which is easier to digest), and I also liked the lack of synthetic or other zero-calorie sweeteners. To be honest, if you're not competing, a few grams of real sugar with 19 grams of protein won't matter. And the taste is worth it to me. I usually use a blender bottle and blending less-processed whey takes time, but the resulting smoothie has a cocktail flavor (fresh frothed milk), a slight sweetness, and a hint of vanilla. It's also a great flavor base to add other things to; Coconut powder, pb2, dried or frozen fruit, throw in some OJ and it looks like Orange Julius! Both were 100% complete (this was patchy with other supplements I've ordered through Revain). That's all for me folks, I'm a total newbie. Try a bottle, you won't regret it.
