UPDATE: A few weeks later, a few things. The battery life on these things is amazing. I still use the included non-branded products they provided. And that after many hours of operation. You are really great. I noticed they went up $10 a few days after we bought 2 sets. And now sold out. haha HOT product. So there is ONE PROBLEM. Most of the small magnets at the bottom of each lantern (2 magnets each) will rust. We have a chlorinated pool. They stain the table/shelf we keep them on when we stop using them every night. I just got that. Luckily on the early side so we're fine. Now I will try to remove them. Try tearing them off. I believe they will stain the bottom of the pool as well. Tried - do not go out / do not go out. I sealed the bottom with an air duct and now we store them upside down. They're still good in every way. ORIGINAL REVIEW: WOW - I've had them for 2 weeks now and they are absolutely amazing. We bought 2 sets of 4 and use 6 in the pool and 2 in some large pots for plant lighting. The remote works at a distance of about 4-5 feet when the lights are underwater, but at a very long distance on land. They came with batteries and about 8 hours total, the battery is still like new I would say. They fall to the bottom of the pool. We have not used, including suction cups or magnetic use. We LOVE them and what great value for money.
