It's cheap because it doesn't work

I was expecting it to be plug and play but I should have read the reviews first. You have to connect to a power source, download an application, update the firmware... and it still doesn't work. The package says to contact customer service before leaving negative feedback, but there is no contact information for customer service. Pay extra money and get a real Apple connector.
