Finding a cheap and basic CD player with built in speakers isn't easy, but this one looked promising. We bought it as a Christmas present and the extra features and compact design are amazing. Unfortunately, with careful daily use of mostly the CD player, it died completely a few months after the 90-day warranty expired. Also, it doesn't have a CD shuffle mode. Within the framework of the guarantee PDF, we only have the option of contacting Spectra and sending the device - prepaid - for repair at our expense. For a $40 CD player that died so young, we decided not to even try. Instead, we pull an old boombox CD player from a family member's garage, dust it off, and use it — it looks like it could last for decades, not months. CD and show how many tracks, but you could not do anything; Turning it on and off until it worked seemed like a temporary fix. He then died completely a month later with the same symptoms. After that, the rest of the features stopped working - no radio, no bluetooth, no aux input. Now we are without a CD player and without a piece of junkyard that lasted less than a year.
