For a battery powered charger to match, it's good to protect and keep in good condition the RAV charger it's designed for. For me they have the bonus of having a "K” embossed in the center of the case which they personalize as it is the first letter of my name. I bought it with a charger so it protects the charger when put in a gym bag or backpack when traveling. It offers additional space for additional cables and the charger has three slots for USB cables. There were two cables. The charging port is a micro USB slot, which is convenient as most cell phones use it. But we're talking about the case, not the charger. I've added a lightweight USB cable for any Apple iPad or iPod.
