In my experience, with daily use, the HEPA filter needs to be replaced every six months (the filter lights up like clockwork every year at Christmas and on July 4th). The activated carbon pre-filter should be replaced more frequently as it quickly collects the layer of dust, which reduces airflow efficiency. ISINLIVE comes with 4 replaceable activated carbon filters, so the HEPA filter will last a lifetime. ISLINLIVE costs about half as much as WINEX replacement filters. It works just as well (based on airflow and odor control). REMEMBER: You'll need to change filters more often than expected, so cost-efficiency increases quickly. ISINLIVE isn't the cheapest filter out there, but I trust it 100% - and so do you.
