We have a second grader who is learning to tell the time from analog and digital clocks. I thought it would be useful to show him how the minute and hour hands of one of my watches work, but I realized that I don't have watches with Arabic numerals on the face, just wands and/or Roman numerals. I bought one of these watches for him and it made it much easier for him to tell the time and visualize the minute hand making a full revolution while the hour hand advances just an hour. We also got all the kids in his class a watch for Christmas and they love it! We have heard from all parents how much the clock has helped.
