Review on ☕ Bodum 1928-16US4 Chambord French Press Coffee Maker - Chrome, 1L (34 oz) by Katrina Coniglio

I love the Bodum coffee maker! I wish I had found it sooner. Produces excellent coffee without sediment. We got rid of our filter coffee machine and only use our coffee presses and coffee maker (for my husband). I don't understand other reviewers concerns about the thickness or lack of glass carafe/mug. It doesn't look too thin. It is a borosilicate glass that can withstand high water temperatures and everyday use. If it were thicker it would break too easily. Cleaning is very easy. I add some water to the carafe after removing it from the frame and pour it into a colander over the sink. Rinse with water and throw the rest in the trash. Then wash by hand, remove and rinse piston (screen, coil press, etc.), dry all parts except the screen and reassemble. Takes about 3 minutes or so. Ready for the next use. And looks so beautiful on the counter and while cooking. Update: TWO AND A HALF AND STRONG! It's been almost 2.5 years (6-4-2020) and our Bodum coffee press is still making us great coffee. We try not to bang or hit it on hard surfaces and gently clean it. Thank you Bodum for a great product.
