Needs patience to see results. The instructions state that the first 4 procedures should be performed 2 weeks apart. (That's only 2 months.) Then 5-7 treatments are done once every 4 weeks. (Total 3 months.) So the whole treatment takes 5 months. - After that, it is recommended to touch up as needed. I got this for Christmas so I just finished my 3rd treatment. #1 on December 26th, #2 on January 9th and #3 today, January 24th. Results after Treatment #2: My legs look weird because the hair patches react differently to the treatment. There are sections of hair that are getting thinner and shorter. I have bald spots on my legs where the hair dies off completely after 2 treatments. Hooray! And then about 70% of my leg hair didn't change at all. They grow fat and long as usual. I suspect each hair follicle is at a different stage in the growth cycle. Maybe that's why I see 3 different stages of hair growth on my legs. I've been shaving my chin since school! (I am 39.) After 2 treatments the hair on my chin has not changed. My chin hair is dark and very thick. Pooh. I will continue treatment and see what happens. I am using level 1 and I have slight pain after using the device. The pain subsides within 10 minutes and I apply post treatment lotion as recommended. (It really helps with pain!) I will come back and update this review.
