*edit* Because I bought them for a trip, I didn't use them until after the return period. I emailed the seller and he refunded me in full. I changed 1 star to 4 for customer service. I bought them for a long flight and they worked great initially. On the way home, however, there was a loud bang. Regardless of the volume setting, there was a static noise every few minutes that cracked my ears. Even if you could survive the interruption, you would seriously damage your hearing. Unfortunately I'm outside the return window so I'm sticking with them. Very disappointing. They weren't the most comfortable either, but the sound quality and noise-cancelling seemed to work well.
