Very good product, not many of them. Installation went smoothly and overall I am very happy with the quality, range and performance of this unit. I bought two to mount on my wooden table to connect laptops, chargers or other items that need power. I didn't need two USB ports, but now that I have them, I've used them on both phones and desks. The only thing I would change about this product is the 90 degree rotation of the sockets, but it still works fine. I put blue masking tape where I mounted them and on the tape I drew the dimensions of the cutout with a pencil. Since the tabletop was an inch thick, I cut my cutout exactly 1cm smaller to allow for errors when using the jigsaw. I then used a rasp to cut out the hole so it would fit and fit snugly. It took me a while to make sure my measurements were very accurate, but it was worth it. There was no way I wanted to ruin a new $240 table. Then I bought a 4 foot 9 plug extension and installed it on the inside of the modesty board. These two recessed extensions are then connected to a longer extension along with fixed components such as monitors, speakers and PCs. All cables are very well hidden and do not touch the ground. I can see where this product works well in many different situations and I will buy again if I ever need to add more flush outlets again.
