Review on Ipad Mini Keyboard - 135 Degree Flip 7 Color Backlit Aluminum Shell Case for iPad Mini 5th Gen 2019 / iPad Mini 4 2015 by Jerome Pritchard

I had a Zagg keyboard case with backlit keys and a detachable keyboard (attached with magnets to easily use the iPad as a tablet when the keyboard isn't needed). Well I've had the first version for 4 years with no problems so I bought an updated version for my updated iPad mini. Bad choose! The new one tore in 3 places within a few weeks of very gentle use. It was outside the return window and Revain refused to do anything about it. Zagg didn't help either because they don't make this product anymore so what's the guarantee? Deceased. Bad service! That's how I got into this business. I almost didn't buy this case because the photos of the rose gold version looked ugly to me - so pink and cheap (and I LOVE pink). But thankfully I looked at the photos shared by the reviewers and realized it looks a lot prettier. I'm so glad I ordered this. It is very beautiful in person. It looks and feels way better than my previous Zagg keyboard case. It's also easier to tap on for some reason, although I can't tell you why - they look the same size, but this one feels lighter to me. The keyboard layout is normal and you can use Mac keyboard shortcuts. The backlight is quite pleasant, but turns off quickly. Not that important to me, but noticeable. It also feels pretty sturdy (not cheap like Zagg felt). However, it is lighter than Zagg by a decent amount. I mean I haven't weighed it or checked the specs but this one seems lighter which is great. Overall I'm very satisfied (and I'm very picky). I couldn't be happier with the look - it's so pretty. And the performance seems excellent so far. I hope it lasts! The only downside is that the keyboard cannot be detached from the iPad case. This design seems harder to find. I'd prefer that as I like reading the news or browsing Revain without a keyboard plugged in, but it doesn't matter because it's relatively easy to pull out the iPad to do it (although I don't like it when it comes out without a keyboard ).
