Meh still not what I was looking for

It's not much better than the cheap needle valve I have. You're using 1/30th of the total valve setting, anything else is a massive release of CO2. However, it turns easier and feels better than the cheap ones I had. I have it in line right now until I can get the magnet on the timer so my cheap valve just turns on and off.
