Review on Ascher Vintage LED Edison Bulbs - Dimmable 6W ST58 Filament Bulbs With E26 Medium Base And Bright Daylight White 4000K - Pack Of 6 by Chris Destruction

We have a brand name 6-bulb light fixture on a dimmer switch. I had purchased LED bulbs just like these at Home Depot years ago, the only difference being they were on the warm side of the color scale. It made the room very yellow, so I wanted some daylight bulbs to fix that. These had such great reviews and were really affordable. A clear winner.They showed up just as fast as any other Prime item and were adequately packaged without any damage to a single bulb. Upon installation, they were definitely daylight white. Almost too cool-toned, because they made the room look very clinical. Somewhat like a doctor's office or a hospital. I'm not docking stars for that though, because it's literally what they are supposed to be and I knew that when buying them. It was just not working for the room and that's okay.So to even the color out, I decided to go with 3 of my old warm-toned bulbs and 3 of these bulbs. Everything worked fine for about a week, but then I noticed these new ones weren't working with the dimmer switch at all. They were seemingly stuck on their dimmest setting, no matter how high I set the switch to. The weird thing is it was only these bulbs that were doing it. The warmer-toned bulbs that were right there with them were working perfectly fine, as they have been for years. I made sure to double-check that I purchased the 'dimmable' version of these lights, just in case. The listing and the packaging both say they're dimmable, which I suppose is true, but I'd also like them to be not stuck on the dim setting ;)Anyway. I'm leaving a couple stars, because the listing is technically correct and they did look really good. I'm just disappointed they didn't work out and we have to go through the hassle of returning them. I'm glad we were able to pinpoint the problem as being the bulbs and not the rest of the fixture though, because that would've been a much more expensive fix.I hate to say this, but if you have a fixture with a dimmer switch, you may want to look at another brand or at least be okay with initiating a return if the same happens to you.
