Not suitable for HDMI

I bought this adapter because all the reviews were positive and almost 5 stars. After receiving the adapter, for some reason I can't see this HDMI adapter getting positive reviews. The end of HDMI adapter is different in size or shape from HDMI. See photos of HDMI and Belin. It's more of a box shape. It didn't fit in my laptop. Hence "one" star.
