Top notch. It works like a switch. I bought this to switch the DAC output between a stereo amp and a headphone amp. It does the job. However, having connectors on opposite sides means that cables run from both sides. As a result, it takes up much more space than necessary and guarantees cable clutter. The volume control is useless. Only the last 15 degrees or so has an audible difference. I leave it wide open. Having a separate on/off button and a two button source/output switch is not an interface design I would go for. It's funny. Audio switching devices with rotary switches and RCA connectors were ubiquitous. They were cheap. It's very hard to find one now.
