The double base is important as it also serves as a primer. the double base also gives the color a radiant shine and adheres well to the nail bed.2. only 20 beautiful and bright colors. beautiful colors for all seasons.3. The colors stayed on my nails for a week and a half before the color started chipping my cuticles. Disadvantages: 1. Base coats do not protect against burning.2. Some colors are very transparent despite the thick consistency, which requires more time to apply.3. The kit serves more as a sample as the polish bottles only hold 0.25 fl oz4. The matte top coat picks up dirt easily and so the color changes too muddy which is a shame as the finish is still nice. Overall I can't complain at this price. The product works as described and the colors are great. Due to the consistency of the thick varnish I bought liquid latex (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HKG7YT6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) which is only suitable for the first layer. Shape it as it will also cure and adhere to the paintwork if left on while it cures. I recommend buffing with base coats, then using latex (two coats), then buffing a coat of paint, waiting a few minutes, then peeling off the latex and then curing. Once the first coat of polish is applied it fills the nail bed making it harder to hit the cuticles after it has cured with the last coat. If you are a beginner this will work for you!
