I have a similar pour aerator by Rabbit, but decided to try this one out because it is dishwasher safe. This one is a little smaller than the Rabbit, but the good news is that the performance appears to be the same. The smaller size might actually be an advantage, because I've had bottles where the Rabbit would not fit securely and it fell out into my wine glass, creating a mess So far, I've not had this problem with the Favia.Don't buy this for the wine vacuum stopper, however. Although it works, it doesn't appear to have great quality construction. If you are storing your half bottle of wine upright, it's probably OK. I prefer to put my unfinished open wine back in the wine refrigerator. Currently I use a Vacuvin stopper and put it back in the rack horizontally without any problems. I don't feel like I can trust this vacuum + stopper design to not leak accidentally in that horizontal position.
