I needed this replacement PEI to attach to my Creality Ender 5 magnetic metal build plate. I foolishly ruined my original Creality PEI plate but the metal base was in great shape. After freezing the old PEI (then removing the old PEI) and then soaking the old metal sheet in Goo Gone for 24 hours I was able to get the sheet very clean. Using this GizmoDorks PEI was easy. It went great and the adhesion of the PEI to the metal plate is excellent (note I must have bought the wrong size as it didn't fit my metal plate 5). ABL fired up, set my offsets with the appropriate amount of chatter. My first print was a disaster. The prints slipped off the PEI around the 20th layer. Checked the bed heater. still hot Prints two to five. disasters. I literally spent a whole roll of PETG on this thinking I could get the print up and running overnight. twice lol I rubbed the PEI with a green scouring pad and started getting some results. WHY didn't he come out of the box like that? I've had good luck with prints, but not very good with prints either. Dawn wiped between prints, sprayed with IPA. Finally tired, I bought a new metal bed and a PEI sheet for the Ender 5 campaign. I observe how this material now sticks to the Creality PEI sheet like glue. My Opinion: Stick with the standard Ender PEI.
