My son has worn them 3 times and they have already collapsed on the back. They reach children from 13 years of age. My son is 11 years old so his skates don't even fill the entire shelter. It only weighs 41 pounds, so it doesn't even add a ton of weight to them. If you're buying these for the short trip from the car to the ice rink, don't worry. They also keep falling off. I twisted my leg today when one flew away and reached the car. I was hoping my son would find it easier to put them on and take them off by himself. Let's get back to the rubber shields. Definitely not worth it. Didn't even last a week.
